I just finished the Lambda mission and now I'm doing Imperial Patrol missions. I've been doing them for over an our now, how many of these are there, and when do i get my next real mission?

I assume this is a "duty" mission. If so, they stop whenever you go to your datapad and choose "end duty" from the radial or land/leave the system. They are there as an easy way for you to get exp only.
