Thread: Asteroid Resources: Where can I sell it besides vendor/bazaar(s)?

When I was taking the quest fot the Y-8 I was told I could sell these, sorta like components to a dealer...I guess,Any help?

There are various trade space stations in ALL space sectors except Kessel and Deep space that will buy the resources if you wish to sell them. Each station pays a different price for different resources, with Diamond resources from Kessel usually being the highest priced Asteroids.
A Better method of making money off of them though, at least a more profitable one, would be to sell them to either a shipwright or an Artisan as both have schematics (Such as the BARC repair tool) that require the resources. I know for a fact that on my server, asteroid resources carry a very large price tag. I've seen them sell from anywhere between 50 and 400 credits per unit...
Quite suprising seeing as most of them are really really easy to get. They just take a bit of time to rack up significant amounts of asteroids.
When and if they fix the y-8 mining vessel so that it can actually be an effective mining ship, obtaining larger quantities of these resources should be much easier and much more time efficient as well. A Y-8 Cargo hold can hold an awful lot of asteroids =)
