I have been flying since JTL launched, mastered a bunch of different squadrons. Helped a countless number of people get their Ace pilot badge, solo'd every ship including the ISD and killed many foes in Deepspace. The only reason I fly now is to find loot to RE parts for my guild mates or help them on quests. The Lord Cyssc mission from Kash is actualy the hardest mission in the game but the rest of Kash space is lame tier 2's and 3's. It was said before but it needs to be said again, there is no content for master pilots. Give us a sector with tier 6, 7 and 8 enemies and bring the strategy back into pilot. Smarten the AI on the vette so it spins if it's getting attacked or something. All the ships up there are just too damn easy.

Is space too easy?

All things considered, ya, i think so. At least where PvE is concerned.
Seriously, when is the last time you died in space PvE? I can't think back that far, its been months since ive died in Pve.

PvP wise, the games intregrity has been breached a long time ago from exploitation that persists to this day.

Last one I've found is a slaver station where you get a mission to capture a freighter on it's way to the avatar station and escort it back.... Again you get this mission by using /comm on one of the more important ships flying near there.
The waves of ships attacking you is made up of tier 4 and 5 ships and range from 3 to 6 at a time.
The waves are very quick. I'd even suggest this one for any tier 4 pilot grinding exp.. Much faster then kessel.

That mission is bugged. No point in trying to grind on it, the xps are as low as tier2-3, while the ships are as tough as 4-5

Wow your right, I must of been asleep and not paying attention to that fact since I only get prestige points.
The rodian missions also do not give full experience either.
3k exp for the tier 5 fighters and 3k exp for the tier 5 gunboats.

If PvP in Deepspace is the "next level" of space content, then SOE needs to go back to the drawing board big time. PvP in space is neither fun nor rewarding, ie, there is no reason whatsoever to participate in it other than "if you want to." Fighting the ISD , while disappointing as it is way too easy (destroyed it easily solo the first time I entered DS), is fun for the first few times you do it. Getting 1 shotted by...pretty much anyone...in pvp while trying to destroy the ISD is no fun whatsoever. How anyone likes space PvP the way it is is beyond me. I personally think it sucks and is a pointless waste of time. Going overt is only good to grind out factoin points and going to Deepspace is only fun to destroy the ISD or the Station. Player encounters, while a rarity on my server, are far too short and un-fun. The designers need to go play Battlefield or even Battlefront to see how PvP in dogfight should be.

And yes...space combat, aside from a couple Kashyyyk encounters, is very very easy.

Come on out to Deep Space, you won't find it so easy...

He just told you he has soloed the ISD ...
Where do you think that is?

On the subject of Master Missions for Kashyyyk
There are four different master missions I've found there.
The first one you can find by doing a /comm to a Y-1300 which flys around the spaceport.
You will face tire 4 and 5 ships along with gunships.

There are two rodian stations where you contact the leader in the decimator and again get a mix of tier 4 and 5 ships with tier 5 gunships.

I believe all the above are in your POI tab.

There may be even more than that too.

Good luck

The inference from my post is that PvP in Deep Space IS the next level of content. Anyone can take on PvE enemies, it's simply a matter of figuring out how, like a puzzle. Attacking the SD in Deep Space is no bigger feet than taking out a Corvette, or Gunships, for that matter, it's just different. (Slightly)

/sigh for making me spell that out.

You have to put your time in with 'Space' before you can go deep thats for sure.

As for the PvP comments, I have been in over 20-30+ battles and go to DS almost every time I am in space too look for Rebel scum. I admit that the faster harder to hit reward ships have made the battles a bit more enjoyable. Before it was just me in my Rihkxry or what ever moving people down because I could fit 2 lvl 10 4500+ damage guns on with the third producing 3800. Throw in some missles and a 2500 F&R shield and you have a pretty good chance of landing the best one or two shots to get the kill. It's also a hard to find enemies in DS, I have been up there many times for a couple hours and not found anyone. Or you do and kill them and they come back and you do it again and thats it.

The point I am trying to make is that the PvE challenge is totally gone, we don't have any uber targets to go and kill like on the ground. Someone tell the Emporer to go ahead with the Death Star plans, give that thing 100 guns and surround it with lvl 6 and 7 ties so it can only be done in teams of experienced pilots.

I guess it would be too hard and would get nerfed, oh well. I will keep on the black suns and try for a helmet I guess.
