If your MP ship gets destroyed with furniture on it does all the furniture get destroyed? or does it remain...

A ship does not get destroyed, although it will get damaged to the point of uselessness, in which case you have the option of destroying it. So you are the only one with the option to destroying it, and I have no idea how that works.

If your MP ship gets blown up in battle PvE or PvP your ship respawns at a space station where you can repair it. The furniture and decorations in the ship stays intact, but the ship and its components will need repairs.
If you manuallydestroy an MP ship in your datapad without unloading components and furniture, everything goes bye bye.

I have a yacht all decorated up, and have several storage cabinets in it. I try to put some of my resources in the cabinet and get the message "container full" meaning my yacht has too many items in it. BUT I was wondering if the containers are working as intended. Aren't they supposed to act similar to backpacks and only count as the container not the contents? Hope that didn't sound too confusing, didn't know how else to word it.

all items including containers (and the loot box in the other MP ships) count.

I wish, no the devs count the container and all the items in it, toward your total alotment of space.
the only place you get free space is in an equiped back back, although I wish we could have more equipment containers to equip and wear.

I haven't fully tested this but I have my YT-1300 somewhat furnished and was concerned that I would lose loot if total count was maxed even if the loot box wasn't, but it seems like when loot goes in the loot box, it's not counted against your total count if it's maxed out. If you go over, the items are not lost but once you take them out of the loot box you can't put them back in. Of course, you can't hold more than 75 items in the loot box but if you have 75 items decorating your MP ship then loot will still go in the box up to 75 items. So in theory, a MP ship with a loot box could hold 150 items.

This is true however if the loot box is full and you have 0 items in the ship elsewhere, you cannot drop anything until the loot boxis emptied.

NO only master pilots of your profession can pilot and only pilots of your profession can use the Ops Chair.

I had rebel pilots sit on my YT-1300 ops chair and using their tricks and my droid programs, seems they changed that a while back.

Does my group have to be the same faction as me to operate turrets or other chairs in my MP ship?
Im a privateer pilot, but my buddies are mostly rebels. I dont want to be pigeonholed
