I just brought the wookie back to Kachiro and got a new quest....to find the Trandoshen Slaver Camp. But the damn wookie keeps following me and i'm getting the message saying " You are too far from your escort target, you have 10.00 seconds to get closer." Is this guy gonna follow me all the way to the slaver camp and back? or can i leave him here

He might. As long as you got the original mission complete message after the escort, you're fine.

yeah that kept happening to me even after i left kash and came back...but you are ok just keep doing the mission and you will be ok. I don't think the message went away till i logged.
