Is it intentional that when you get killed in Kessel, you get warped back to the Dantooine space station where only a fraction of your damage is repaired, still envoking decay, so that you have to go to another space station to complete the repairs, and have your components decay again?
Was this "double decay" intended, or has it just not been noticed?

It's working as intended.. as it works as intended for anytime you get destroyed in any space sector (other then Deep Space) and get towed back to a Starport for repairs. There are no starports in Kessel so you get sent back to Dantooine, your port of origin. Dantooine, and I believe Dathomir and Endor as well are limited repair starports, you have to live with that fact, it's intended. There is a mission you can complete at Dantooine that allows you to do 100% repair all of the time (when you indicate you need repairs an aditional dialogue option may appear regarding a mission). If you're not able to effect full repairs at Dantooine Starport then here's an option... leave orbit and do the repairs yourself from the manage terminal using Allpurpose Repair Kits.

this is not true. If you run a mission for the dantooine starport, they will start repairing 100% of your damage. This happend to me and i was pretty mad, but then the in conversation with the station, an abnormal response popped up so i clicked it and i got the mission string. now i can get 100% repaired there.

Endor Station (Where the imperials get towed after going boom in kessel) is, according to the NPC at the station "Well supplied by the Empire" and is a 100% repair station. So if rebels get blown up, they only get partial repairs. If imperials get blown up they can fully repair and get right back into the action. Rebels get the shaft here too.

you can now do a mission set that wil allow the dant station to repair fully
ask for repairs, and ask why he can't repair you fully, then he explains, then you help him out ![]()

Dath station also now has a series of 'story'-based missions(ummm...a load of flees in the cargo, nice story...) that will grant you full repairs at that station. Second of the three missions is verrrry long.

first off you dont get decay just by being reparied, you get decay based on how much damage is repaired. 10% of the hp repaired is taken off the max
so if your engine takes 1000 damage, and you get it reaired once for 750hp (75 points of decay) and another time for 250hp (25 points of decay) you end up with the same decay as repairing it once for 1000 hp and getting 100 points of decay.
and once you hit master you should be getting nothing but 25% reparis so you can limp to deep space.
