Will we Rebels at last have our proper Pilot X-Wing Fighter helmet in the GCWrevamp? will there be more?

Will we have a better looking flightsuit?

I think the GCW Revamp is mostly focused on ground-only at the moment. I haven't heard too much about things they are changing with JTL with the GCW Revamp.

odd that you moan about the helmet yet the flight suit which is the right flight suit you want changing.


remeber the helmet you get as a reward is for alliance "ace" pilots its not the standard rebel pilot one

Even so it would be nice to get the standard one at Tier 1 like the Imperials get the standard TIE helmet at tier 1 then the ace helmet at master.

i believe the devs have stated many times that trying to make open faced helmets is quite hard. i'm not sure on the mechanics involved in modeling or coding such things but if it is as difficult as they claim then one would guess that they made it a closed face helmet for ease of implimentation.

I believe that the "hard" part is that they have to make one "copy" of the helmet for each race, since it works somewhat like hairstyles do. Closed faced helmets pretty much just replaces the entire head.


Though it might be "hard" that's no excuse for NOT giving rebels one of their three proper flight helmets. In fact, they should put in the extra effort and make all three helmets avaliable for all races (except Ithorians and wookiees, obviously). That, and the proper B-wing flightsuit, and proper X-wing/A-wing and Y-wing flightsuits with the "chestbox". Seems like the developers have some form of pervertion for giving rebels new designs though: All the rebel armor, the ace-jacket, the ace-helmet, etc.

Yes we need to getour helmet. it looks so un Star Warsy seeing all the pilots wearing either swoop helms or composite helmets.


As far as the flight suit it would be nice if it was modified slightly from the craftable ones like adding the chest unit to it or something like the B-wing flight suit.

Well, the flightsuit needs more detail. It looks like something thrown together for the Sims.
