Thread: Are You My Mother?

I feel like the little ducking in the children's book with that title. I have my authorization of transfer form all signed and ready to go, but no matter where I go, I can't seem to find the commanding officer of the unit I'm supposed to transfer to.

See, a while back, I completed all the Tier I stuff for the Imp pilot trainer in Bestine. At that point, he told me to go transfer somewhere.

After not playing JTL for a period of weeks, I went back in to find that I was still in Bestine when I logged off. No problem, sez I, I'll just go to my new assignment.

Only, there was no record of said assignment. No email, no mission, no waypoint, no chat log, nothing on the transfer form, and my old commanding officer was completely unhelpful, indicating that he hoped my new assignment was going well, but not actually telling me where that might be.

So... I decided to make some content for myself, and quest around for my CO. I had a fine time flying from planet to planet, visiting places I'd never seen, and getting treated rudely by every Imp pilot trainer I came across. I tried conversing, doing missions for the ones who would let me, I tried dropping my signed transfer form on them. I did missions for the Dantooine and Yavin space stations, just for fun. I did the Imperial Theme Park trying to talk to the Grand Inquisitor (is it just me or does the promise and potential in the mission descriptions make the actual missions that much more disappointing? At the time, I was glad to be able to zip through them, but still...). I've accumulated some fairly nice equipment that I can't get the skills to use, and am starting to get to that point where I'd like to actually do my duty for the Empire.

As I write this, I realize that I haven't checked the big Imp base outside Mos Espa, or the one on Lok yet... I'll give that a try next time I get the chance.

In the meantime, is there a list somewhere of pilot trainers with locations? I wasn't able to find one in the FAQ.

Rabblerowser is correct. It is in the Captiol Building. Tier I is in the Guild Hall, Tier Ii the capitol, Tier III and IV is on Endor at the Imperial Outpost.

Hello fellow storm squadron member. Your next assignment is at the Imperial Base on endor.

The pilot trainers are in the building on the far side (the corner building)from the shuttle ticket terminal door.

There is more than one trainer there so check all (both?)of them there for the correct trainer.

Hmm...been a while since I did that part, but if I remember right - it is the trainer in Bestine capitol building standing very close to Victor...if not, I'll have to dredge the brain cells a bit more, as my dosh memory appears to be short term at best!

Good Luck!
