Thread: Whats up with the Dev's

You mean the same devs who added another ground/space mission last week, and fixed one of our major bugs? Those Devs? They don't need to post as far as I'm concerned, but then, I've been paying attention to the work they've been doing...

Does anyone else find it funny that there are only 3 posts by the Dev's. I wonder if they even care about JtLS. Its sad to me that the don't at least throw us the obligatory SOE standard response "We are looking into the problem." There are a lot of good suggestions in these post to help this game become better.I love JtLS, I just wished there was more attention paid to it and us.
Honestly the DEVs are skittish about posting anything! Why? Because the player base has proven time and time again to be unappreciative when it comes toposting any kind of information.
People cried for information on the CURB. They post up info on the curb and add an expansion and people go bonkers. In the past they have posted that "they were looking into the problem" to other issues and sure enough it sat somewhere in the back seat due to more pressing issues. People in the player base has attacked them constenly.
The thing is that they screwed up and they know it. Now they are trying to make up for it by fixing the game they released, and add some content finally. They are trying to make the player base happy and when somone posts something up like "why arent there any imperial hats or why isnt there any more multiplayer ships," then they just have to put that crap in the back burner as the Ground game and Combat upgrade is more important.
Another point is... There are thousands of posts each day asking for this or that... really if they posted anything they would be lieing to you. Becasue when you multiply one thousand people posting every day questions, by how many days in a week you get like seven thousand posts you have to cream through. At first they tried to do it but dosent make sense to post something that will come back and bite you in the A$$ esspecially when the player base is as fickle as this one is.
Starwars fans can be very picky and by right they should be, but some times they can be down right rude and abnoxious. So better to keep quiet and answer when you do have an answer. When you dont have an answer then just better to ponder and keep quiet.
