Thread: Working lamps in space...?

I was setting up my yacht with some junk and noticed that lamps never turn on while in space. I just thought it would be kind of a neat idea if they had on/off toggle switches or if they would just stay on at all times while in space.
Or am I experiencing a bug?

If you're talking about streetlamps, they may never come on because there is no day/night transition in space.
If you mean furniture, its possible they have burned out?
I've dropped other permanent light sources and they worked fine (loot) but not tried crafted lamps yet.

I was talking about street lamps. Is there any other sources of light that I might be able to find that is Blue or Red? I just wanted a blue tinted room in my boat.

I think the glowing orb (Valarian quest) or Lytus family artifact gives off blue-ish light 24/7.

Exactly the sources I was mentioning 
Please OP, don't post a "how do I get them" reply, that info is easily available in Game Guides, or Items and Loot forums.
