Thread: Whats the best server for JTL?

Lol, I'm on Valcyn, and I asked this very question here a few weeks ago. i am totally frustrated with the lack of JtL on Valcyn.
I was told Starsider has the best JtL. Weekly events, a dedicated chat channel etc.

Starsider is the best. Atleast in my opinion. If your looking for a lot to do in space then you should try us out.

I'm on Valcyn and have a Wing with 115 pilots at present. Unfortunatly The Imps aren't organized at all, a few fragmented squadrons at best. Are there good size units and events on any other server? If so I'd really like to chat to exchange ideas for events, PvP, etc..
I know JTL is lacking...But still, I believe there is fun to be had. I would appreciate any positive input and ideas! Thank you!

I believe you were asking about guilds Pix, We are not a guild. We have 2 dedicated chat channels and a dedicated Teamspeak server.
What kind of events do you do on Starsider to keep things up and going??

Bria is also the most populated server. Many people are in space and getting into a group is never hard.
I've been on Starsider as well and it's an excellent server with good people. Probably a better overall server attitude than Bria too, just less pupulation.

We've got a space battle every week on Starsider. Usually get around 20 vs. 20. Mission objectives vary from defending your Vette while trying to kill the other side's, to escorting POB ships around, to trying to break through blockades, etc. Then we'll sometimes do weeklong blockades of certain systems, designating them the PVP zone for that week, sometimes mixing in things like trying to slip smuggler craft past the Imperials patrolling the system.
All in all it's a fair amount of activity, and we're actually starting to attract people to SSer just due to our space presence.

I think they meant PvP wise. Which is something bria lacks on any scale larger then the occasional gankage of FP grinding overts.

I realize I'm not on THAT often, but I think Ahazi space is pretty tame action wise. I've gotten a few people to help with a vette mission, and flown with some guildies, but flying around overt is pretty darn pointless except to farm fp.

I asked here and on Valcyn. On Valcyn I was looking for a guild, here, just looking for action. I'm still trying to determine whether to try and get something going on Valcyn on the Imp side of space. i know several have started threads, but nothing has taken off (bad pun).

I'd say starsider as well.......it's one of the few places where folks who have mastered the profession make a concentrated effort to fly overt, as well as picking a system a week that we kind of "fight for" so we know where folks might be.

I wonder if it'd be possible to merge the JTL server somehow so space can get some serious Reb vs. Imp player battles going on. Heh, that'd feel hella Star-Warsy when you have an X-Wing on your back after taking down a couple of his comrades... =D

hm...its a bad sign when the ppl who we are eventually are gunning for are asking around with this question.
Von, Porl and I asked around a few weeks ago and got StarSider as the answer.
Although, we have lately started trying to rally some support for JtL Imperials.
I would rather stay on Valcyn and would propose to you:
If you have 2 dedicated space chat channels, perhaps opening one up for generic pilot chat, regardless of faction.
^^I have gone ahead and created one, actually resurected a seldomely used one. Feel free to check the link Von, and anyone interest in flying in Valcyn space.

I am a former leader of an 80+ at one time Imperial Fleet, space only for the guild, due to near zero reb presence and a few other factors it was disabaned a short time ago, perhaps a month... Really sad that space is so empty, and all the hardcore ground pvp guys wont fly it seems.
