I was just about to preorder JTL for the speeder, and realized the vendor's pages no longer say anything about it. I'm guessing ya hafta have the bonus disk for the Flash speeder. So,is it too late to buy one?

EB Games online customer "service" has said that they are out of Bonus disks and you will not recieve it.
Better try hitting a store but frankly I am really pissed off with EB Games and this promo. I am one of the international customers getting shafted.

Looks like its too late- both onEB andGameStop. The order pages have changed and there is no mention of the Flash Speeder any longer.

Just wait the devs will either make this available as a christmas gift or they will just give everyone one once JTL goes live I think. I just wish they had made it tradable like a regular vechicle so I could sell it.

Definetly try EB and Gamestop stores. I got both of mine at a Gamestop and there were tons still available there because most people were just ordering online (and the people at the store didn't even know what they were and that they were supposed to be handed out with reservations of the game).
Call your EB and Gamestops to see if they have any. Sometimes you gotta talk to a couple of different people before you get one that knows what the hell your talking about.
I called the store ahead and asked them if they had any left and hes said yes they did but when I get to the store they didin't know what in the world I was talking about (even offered me a couple of other computer game demos as an appology because I was supposedly lied to, lol). After having them look around the store for a half an hour they finnally found them in a box in the back.
It looks like alot of the stores just threw them in the back thinking they were just some standard promotional junk to hand out when the game hits live. Apparently the corporate offices of EB and Gamestop didn't tell there stores what the hell was going on with those.

no, you get a box with a disk in it, looks just like any other computer game you get but it says preorderbeta package and other info on it.
You do not get a code when the game comes out, you get it when you reserve the game in the box they give you. If you didn't get the box when you reserved it at the store or through the mail yet after you reserved it online, then your probably not gona get the speeder. ![]()

Hey, thanks for the info, Ruytoo.
I would have never thought to have checked with the store directly.
My local EBGames did indeed have the bonus disk for the Flash speeder available in-store, and I just picked up a copy.

Check your local EB store. Last time I checked my local EB,they said only 5 people reserved pre-order CDs, including moi. SO I'm expecting they're probably gonna like...burn the dozens of extras, if indeed they have extras. They may have just ordered 5 beta disks in my case.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, as the so called "Flash" speeder is more than a little disappointing. Don't be fooled by the name, because a decent swoop is still faster. Sure it looks different, and it supposedly can't be destroyed, but you won't be missing much if you don't get one.
