Jump To Lightspeed Archive

i created a character on the beta test center and joined the imperial navy and got a tie fighter, he wont let me do misions i get a system message saying i dont have jump to lightspeed. Also when i try to launch from the starport it says i do no own jump to light spd now i pretty sure i registered for this through my e-mail . can anyone help me out?

Did you get an email back from SOE accepting you for the Beta? Just because you registered doesnt mean you are automatically in the Beta.

If you were accepted for the Beta, you are given a web page to download the JtL etc and you can then log in after d/ling the JtL files.

If you never recieved an email from SOE it means you cant do anything on the Beta servers. If I remember you dont even get any SP.

Here's my situation. I preordered from gamespot, got my beta disk, registered, downloaded thes stuff i need to run it, created a cool ithorian, but i can't train at anypilot trainer. i went to the initial contact got the waypoints to the various trainers, but whenever i talk to them they say i don't look like a pilot. There's probably a quick fix for this but since i can't get on the beta forums for some reason i haven't been able to find it. The fact that i can't get into the forums suggests that i may not be allowed into the beta, but if that were the case why would it allow me onto the spacebeta server. Any ideas, i really want to fly.

Can you read the JTL forums?

Well i nevr got into beta but heres my wierd thing i can train as piolet and get ships and see what they look like but i cant go to space?

do u think i got the e-mail and jsut didnt see it

If you were accepted into the beta and downloaded the patch, make sure that you use the JTL Launchpad to enter the beta test. The normal test center launchpad will not allow you into JTL.
