Thread: A more immersive JTL thead

this thead isn't about fixing the current issues with JTL but additions to make it more immersive.
i haven't been in any of the master level multipassanger ships so let me know if they already have these but i think these would make interesting additions
- an alarm systems, complete with an alarm sound and strobing red or blue lights when the ship gets below a certian condition (alarm system can be turned off by pilot, it would get anoying after 10 mins if they couldn't fix their ship)
- sparks, steam shooting out of the pipes, wires falling out of panels
- a component to make the yt -1300 turrets lock forward
- multi ship to multi ship docking for boarding parties once the ship is disabled( once the owner of the ship is killed and there are no otherpersons who have admin to ship, the ship starts a timed self distruct)
- single ship docked with MPS (muiltipassanger ships) the docked ship would stay hooked to the ship till the pilot leaves or have the ship autopilot to a desigated sp
- Flag Ship tags for guild MPS, each guild can designate one MPS as their flag ship and maybe give the flag ship the ability to pick up their ejected guildmates if they so choose to be picked up
- Flag ships would have a command center and be given a unique perspective on the battle around themand relay commands to various squadrons. maybe give the flag ship a highened sensory range and i dunno maybe only have Squad Leaders the ability to man the comm center.
other suggestions
- when my ship is damaged i'd like to see it look more damaged such as blaster holes in the hull, plasma leaks, etc
- single person ships show damage internally
- someone said something about sureying in space and i thought that was a great idea. so a SW can make componets such as a " laser drill" ( this of course would have to have a cool effect and be shown on the ship) and have droids go out and collect these resources and bring them back to the ship or have a device to collect it on the ship
- i heard that being able to board in NPC ships and Space stations will be implimented someday, which would add some fun ground style fighting and pvp in space.
- disabled ships go into a dead roll
- when a ship is disabled power goes out or flickers and emergency back up lights come on that would only eluminate the interior of the ship a little bit
- being able to see into the cockpit and windows of ships from other ships and see players sitting in there( i doubt this would happen it would probably eat a lot of proccessor power)
- piloting animation
- i mentioned this before on another thread a while ago but i thought wouldn't it be cool, that when your ship is disabledand tumbles too close to a planet it will crash land in a random area of whatever planet they are close to. for instance lets say your leveling on dath and you happen to see a huge fireball scream through the atmosphere and a loud explosion you run to the spot where it hit and see wreakage of a ship and a player crawl out of the wreakage. it can be easily done they can just spawn prefabed crashed ships just after the explostionon that spot and the player would load on to the planet incapped among the wreakage and then have an animation of player pushing debre off himself/herself or crawling out from under some larger wreakage, and depending on how many players were in the ship there would be diffrent loading areas among the ship wreakage.
thats all i can think of so far, if you have any additions please let me know ill add them

Nice ideas. The alarms, flashing lights, steam (and horrible blue radiation jets) are existant on the multiplayer ships already though. Flagships would be really slick...would love to see some of those heavier ships like the Black Sun Transport adapted for something like that.
