I think this may be a sign that I really do need to quit Storm Squadron. I'm still on Mission 3 of Tier 3. Except that now, I can't do my mission at all.
I decided to grind out some Investigation yesterday, but I already had two quests in my datapad. One was mining, and the other was the tier 3 quest. Being that I actually enjoy mining (when the rocks aren't flying away faster than my Bomber goes, that is), I decided to drop the Tier 3 mission. Today we decided to take another crack at it, now that my amazing partner has her Jedi starfighter, and I flew off to Yavin to get the mission. Before I talked to the captain, I noticed that I had two missions in my datapad again, so I deleted the mining one. I talked to Captain Denner, or whatever his name is, and he acted as though I still had the mission. I flew off to Endor, but the star system didn't play along. So now, I can't get the mission, so I definately can't advance. I put in a petition, but they just said that they couldn't help. Any idea what I can do, other than just quit Storm Squadron and go to Naboo? And is this bug likely to continue on and deny me the chance to finish the mining quests? Thanks.

Oh god!
If that happens to me on mission 3 (which I'm 2 away from), you'll see me on a roof top on the National News.....

Try talking to him agian and telling him you cannot complete it. If that's an option anyway...
I know this is often a workaround for missions like these when there is a problem.
Try that.

Not all the time, sometimes they just say "Get back out there! Your on a mission!"

Having the same problem myself all done with the tier 3's have nuff xp for a tier 4 box so im capped in xp....and cant go anyfurther makes
