Thread: tsk tsk... DEVS you should be more carefull: NPCs grieving at the Kashyyyk space station!

was doing the mission for the blacksun ship and was attacked by three gunships and several teir 5 ships.


Now the problem with this is the DEVs set course a corvett that we have to take over and then escort to the damn station. Now I have no problem dieing when I deserve it but damn it, when you put a strong spawn like that near the freaking space station that you spawn back at with little or no engines, damage still on you, and your shields regenerating then I have a problem.


Everyone knows you have to use programs to prepare your ship,..... Teir 5 gunships and escorts... the whole nine was at that station. My friend died THREE TIMES, I died twice that I shouldnt have died... one a jedi ship another a firespray.....


Now what IDIOT put that spawn there and allowed for it to be attackable after you died on a mission?


Now DEVs you should know better and though I love this game with a passion and I have jumped to your defense before, this time there is just no real ryme or reason to put such a spawn there.


Not at the station!!! How may people have died like this? Man that was just dumb planning.


Can someone in the Development team look into this?

Although I've never been attacked coming out of the station, I did two missions today and BOTH of them took our escort right over the top of the station. I could see some panicked travelers scrambling away from the gunfire as we tried to round up the tier 4-5 interceptors darting around. No one was hurt, but I can see that this is a problem. Devs should design (if it's not already, I'm not entirely sure) the gunfire associated with someones mission to be unable to hit other PC's.

This isnt other peoples missions. This is a failed mission of my own that the spawns did not despawn. The flight path is to the Kashyyyk space station where I am escorting a captured Corvett.


The Gunships that spawn to kill the corvett are Teir 5 and so are the escorts. If you are killed anywhere near the space port (which is close to the end of the mission) You get destroyed not once... not twice but a possible three times.


This is a problem with that mission. Its the Kashyyyk space station Corvett mission.


Nobody should be dieing at a space station over and over again when they are vulnerable like that. Its a shame because I caught alot of decay due to a dumb design.


Whats done is done... I just want the DEVs to fix that before it happens to others....

Oh that. That is an annoying problem. Those spawns are supposed to hyper once the mission finishes.

Actually I'm pretty sure that means that someone who did the same quest before you did left the gunboats there... they'll aggro anything around them once the vette jumps out...

No. He is talking about the Tier 5 Civilian Patrol ships that circle the Kashyyyk station. If they get angry at you they will attack and kill you.


As for unattackable enemy crossfire... yeah. I hate that. In fact I had one for some reason get locked onto me. It was someone else's mission and for some reason he was shooting and hurting ME! He was all over me too. Tier 5. I shook him, got on his tail and fired! *BEEP BEEP BEEP* non-attackable! GHA! I took off and he was on me again shooting. I had to hyper out.

Not to mention the fact that there are no Doctors anywhere around, so you rack up 1000+ wounds in no time, and then you have to go sit down in a Med Center for 2 - 3 hours to heal.

I never knew non-attackable enemy crossfire could actually damage your ship. The one annoyance I've had with other peoples' mission spawns is that they don't target any different thatn regular ones. They really should show up as purple of some other benign color so the targeting systems won't track them.

Of course there are no doctors anywhere, i was a master doctor before cu but there is no point any more.

Sure there's Doctors... but they're too busy healing AFK tumble spammers then to heal the people that have wounds.
Which is why I took up TKA 4000. I never really had wanted to take up TKA, but I got tired of waiting hours in the medical facility to get wounds healed. Now I can simply heal my own and bypass the medical facility completely.

i waqs pleasantly surprised to have a mission that failed first time and needed a team, if anything more ofthe missions should be as hard as that, or even harder,,, loose the challenge loose the fun...

You can't do that anymore. To get medical XP, you have to heal somebody in combat and once the creature the person you healed dies, you are given XP. And plus, you can't heal tumblers anymore because that is action damage (which you can't heal) and there is no such thing as tumble because to do roll shot, you have to be fighting something. So can they grind doctor anymore using a tumbler like you suggest? NO.

dont forget jedi ppl can heal wounds..thats wat most of our jedis do now cause they cant go grinding taht much anymore
