Thread: What is Required to land at Jabba's Palace?

Just wondering if there is a mission i need to do to allow me to land there .. if possible.

Only Smuggler's Alliance Pilots and ground Smugglers can land there.

That's not true.
I can land there and I'm an Imperial Pilot - bounty hunter.
I'm not sure what gives me the ability to land there. I completed Jabba's Theme park long ago, before there were badges, then redid it when the badges first came out.
I always assumed I could land there simply because I was in Jabba's good graces (themepark) and that I was a Bounty Hunter. Jabba obviously likes Bounty Hunters....and Smugglers....so maybe its both of these professions that get to land there.

I've always been able to land there since launch of JTL....I'm not smuggler or BH. Maybe it's a simple thing as faction standing.

If you redeed your ship you *MIGHT* be able to launch your ship from Jabba's however. Havent tried it but it might work given the starship terminal there seems pretty normal.

The landing terminals were added several weeks after launch, who do you fly for?
As for the Imperial Pilot BH, we had reports long ago of some Imperiald being able to land there too, so I should amend my statement that SA and ground smugglers are the only pilots that SHOULD be able to land there.

Just a couple days ago I saw that I was given the option to land at Jabba's Palace. I'm a Rebel Ace Pilot, never done the Jabba Themepark, no Smuggler skills at all, never done any missions (that I can remember) from that space station, and my Jabba faction is -5000.
I think it might be buggy

I'm a neutral Pilot / MBH and I could always land at jabba's, even before I finished the theme park. I figured anybody could land there, but I tried to land there once with an alt character I have on another server, and low and behold, it's not there, so I have no idea what the requirement is.

I think there are some people here confused about what "land" means. I don't think anyone can travel there (i.e.jump from one starship terminal to another), but many of us should be able to land there from space (i.e. hail the space station and tell them you want to land at jabba's). I can't test exactly what prof's can or cannot land there, but I'm a master smuggler/smuggler ace and have done the theme park with 5000 faction, and I can land there, but not travel there.
As far as I know, NO ONE can travel, but those in good standing with jabba should be able to convince the guy in the space station that jabba is expecting us.

I can land there as well. I just assumed it was because I had finished the themepark, but the responses in this thread indicate it might be a little more complicated than that? For the record, I am a rebel pilot in the "Arkon's Havoc" squadron and am also a BH and smuggler.

Interesting. Well, then does anyone not fall into one of these categories but can land there?:
- Privateer of the Smuggler's Alliance
- Completed Jabba's Theme Park
- Smuggler
- Bounty Hunter
From what I have read in this post, if you fall into any one of the above prerequisits you can land at Jabba's.
Does anyone not fall into one of those categories but still has the ability to land at Jabba's?
If so let us know if you have done something else for Jabba. Like the instanced Corvette mission or something.
