I was just wondering, when u get novice, whatever pilot u wanna be, how do you get your hands on a ship? Do you have to buy one ?
I'm gonna be privateer pilot, so do i have to buy a ship ?

no your givin blue prints for a noob ship that cant be managed changed cant go into hyperspace anything sept shoot and boost you have to the visit a chassie dealer and deed the ship add it to your data pad by generating it then you go to a starship terminal and go fly missions

As said in the starting a pilot profession Friday Features a while ago, you're automatically given a non-upgradable novice ship when you get trained as a pilot. From there on, if you want a better ship or equipment, you best find a shipwright or loot some stuff.
And no, this isn't against the NDA. It's also posted somewhere on another site as an article. And SOE approved it's release of info. I'm just repeating it.
