Thread: Forced PvP to master pilot.

To master any of the three pilot professions, you must do a mission in Kessel, which is a PvP zone. The people on the beta boards have been talking about it, but I wanted to see what everyone's elses reaction is. I personally don't like it, because I know for a fact, guilds and peopleon my server or going to powergrind and whatever, and just fly around kessel blowing up any person they see, stopping them from completeing the master mission.

you must do one mission in the kessel system, which is PvP+.
is it just me, or does this not sound like a big deal at all.

Try it before you knock it. My guild has people that HATE PvP, but we plan to make it an event to help everyone get their master. So it'll just be our guild fighting off everyone to try to help our one player survive to complete the mission.
Forced PvP? Good. This game has been far too care-bearish.
Don't get me wrong, it'd be nice if there was an alternative....but if there isn't I think players are savvy enough to get it done.
I look at it like this. I can complain, and compain or I can invest that energy into foguiring out how to get it done and just do it.
