a month or two after i first started playing the game (day two) one of the 'hot topics' here in the TKA forum was wether or not TKMs should use VKs.

many said no, because at master you have capped your speed, and the added damage was outweighed by the HAM cost. now clearly today with buffs being a regular part of so many player's game, HAM cost does not even enter into the equasion.

HOWEVER, if people are sill playing unbuffed as i so often do, are you using VKs at Master? or are you going completely unarmed?

If I'm not buffed, it's unarmed. I can go a perty long time without having to sit and wait for my mind to get back up.

I generally fight unbuffed and unarmed. I equip VKs only when I need the AP (whether buffed or not).

Most of the time I go unbuffed and unarmored without knucklers. I do wear all bio-engineered clothing for the extra bonuses they give me.

Only time I through on the good ol' Ubese and knucklers is when I'm out grinding for exp/cash. As a Doctor though I gotta say I've been buffing myself a lot more often lately (thank you Force Sensitive exp.. LOL!) Only reason I have Doctor is to keep myself alive or those in my group.

Being a hired Tank/Healer on Vette runs and Death Watch excursions is a whole lot of fun.

I never fight without anything in my hand. I always use a VK when doing unarmed combat. If I'm not buffed I just limit what specials I use. Besides, I always have food and drink if I need it.

The difference between fighting with and without a VK is so dramatic that it doesn't make sense to not use it ever.

All depends on my AP needs. I like to go out unbuffed if at all possible so the HAM costs are killers but sometimes you just need that AP.

Remeber the training sessions in the X-Wing and Tie Fighter Sim'., The Obsticle course you went through to earn your wings in the game? I would love to see those as race tracks or training, or something of that nature in the game
