Hi all!

This is more for those veteran spacers who ACTIVELY are using their yachts on a regular basis for either good or for awesome! That big white luxury yacht that we have sitting in our Space term selection screens... what on Earth is the rest of the galaxy[ies] doing with theirs?

Personally, I'm considering making it a tour liner of sorts, taking people around that want to go and just have great RP outings while being able to look out and see amazing nebulas, battles, and anything else that strikes their fancy. I'd like to actually see this maybe rake in some cash, not necessarily a huge bundle, but enough to help pay off the 'in-game bills' and whatnot.

Like I said above... what is your yacht doing for you?

well, im gonna decorate it with a med bay, a workshop, and an office/bedroom area

but if they ever figure out player docking so imps can get on my ship through their ties, im gonna hella rp

75 storeage. it looks lonely, theres a backpack on the bridge fulla stuff. and another with 25 in. hehehe, i was creative.

I haven't finished decorating mine yet. I use it for RP purposes, or sometimes just to be able to tool around space and not have to worry when the combat music starts up.

Right now I need to get the chairs for the main dining hall, and see about getting a vendor dropped into the "holding cell" to which I've converted the main quarters...

I know the devs have stated that they'd love to see this sort of taxi service take off, but the problem is that anyone who has JTL doesn't NEED a taxi service. Yes, with a bit of RP you can do it, but you have to find a group of RPers to do that...and sometimes you just want to show off your decorating work.

I think that letting non-jtl folks wander around MP ships would be great. Don't let them man turrets or pilot them, but let them wander around in them.

I would love to see this too, but I have a feeling this idea will never fly, as that would make non-JTL players have to endure [just guesstimatiing on this ] a 1.5 gig download simply to allow this taxi service. I'm refering to all the space sectors a yacht is allowed in would need to be on their system. Some people may really object to this, but it's just a thought. In reality, they really just need to cough up the measily 30 bucks and get it all anyways.
