I'm reading through the forums now to find this answer, but maybe someone can quickly help me out.

I am an Imperial that mistakenly became an RSF pilot. When I went to Imperial Pilot Coordinator to try and join, he wouldn't let me.

When I went back to the RSF coordinator to quit RSF, I didn't see an option for that.

How do I switch?

Talk to Gil Burtin in the Bestine Hotel. He will let you quit being a privateer.
