Where do I get the stuff to paint my ship, theres nothing about it on the bazaar. BTW can i paint a TIE fighter (not light duty) because i saw another TIE before with a blue trim.

Paint kits are under the 'tools' section on the bazaar terminal. However, none of the Imperial shipsis notpaintabled.

The blue Tie you saw was the Tie/in. The "in" stands for indigo.
It would be nice if we could choose to have the gray or blue on all of our ties.

Actually its TIE/LN whenre LN stands for Line Fighter, a more advanced model fo the standard TIE, most notable by its purplish color.
And no, you cannot paint any Imperial ship at all. It stinks but the emperor doesnt want a bunch of rainbow colored fruitcakes spreading his word throughout the galaxy.

i think my awing looks damn good in black, it blends in nicely with the background, should make it tough to figure out the right lead without a good visual reference on me. i know ties are tougher to hit on a black background.

Concerning painting Imperial ships, I'm reminded of a famous quote by Henry Fordabout his Model T:
":You can have it any color you want as long as it's black"

Couldn't we at least get an insignia from our chosen squadron on the ship? That'd be nice as well.

This would be one of the downsides of aligning yourself with a fascists military organization.

... Maybe Master pilots should at least be allowed the option of painting "blood stripes" on the solar panels, like the 181st Fighter Wing in the EU.
