Ok I'm trying to gain XP for Imperial Technology II and so forth. But all the ships I have to destroy to get a decent amoutn of XP for like 1000 and up, I can't catch up to close enough to fire upon. (MY ship is too slow). I have an engine it on with a top speed of 54.1 and the boosters sort of help. Anyone have any tips for me to help get XP faster or something? Thanks

Yeah, duty missions are the best for grinding xp, especially the destroy missions. You get less xp per kill, but there're lots of ships to kill so you won't waste time waiting or searchingfor random spawns.

Duty missions are the best route, yes you get less xp per kill, but they should go down faster, giving you a higher xp per hour. If you are intent on taking down the 1000 xp ships that outrun you get a Imp pilot to program a chip with Engine Overload 2 (or 3 if your systems can handel it) It will give you a nice speed boost so you can stay with these guys.
