Thread: PRISONER HOLDING CELL on my ship (turning the humble Sorosuub into a true Bounty Hunter vessel :-)
Behold... the Holding Cell!
Holding Cell: looking in from corridor
Holding Cell: looking in from another angle inside the corridor
Holding Cell: looking in from yet another angle inside the corridor
Just call him the "Deputy Barney Fife of a galaxy far, far away..."
Holding Cell: inside looking out
The walls are 12 of the standard Bookshelfs - custom-built by other players and renamed "Holding Cell" - turned so that the backsides are facing into the cell. The cell is somewhat smaller than the room's existing space: rather than take away from the ship's 75-item limit that I wanted to use on other things, I angled the walls a bit and it wound up being a pretty neat effect. The cot is a Divan that I bought from a furniture vendor. The bars are Wood Fighting Staffs that I made and renamed "Cell Bars", and made Bone Armor Segments (also renamed "Holding Cell") where the bars meet the ceiling (I've no idea how prisoners can get in or out... maybe the lower-bars slide upward into the top ones?
All told, 31 separate items went into making the Holding Cell. I've a few more slots yet that I can fill (albeit a VERY few) but here's what I've done to the rest of the ship so far...
Questions? Comments? Anybody want to ride the "Mare Of Steel"? (oh bruddah if you only knew what that was a reference to
Entering Cockpit: the Environmental Control Station (a renamed Structure and Furniture Crafting Tool)
Cockpit: closeup of Technical Console including the "Stolen Crystal Gravfield Detector" (a renamed Flora Survey Device), a gadget first mentioned in Timothy Zahn's "Thrawn trilogy". Embedded behind the Technical Console (pushed back as far as possible) is an Electronic Key that I looted awhile back and was still holding onto.
Cockpit: looking forward from Technical Console
Forward Lounge: looking toward bow
Forward Lounge: looking into Captain's Private Quarters (Bed and Armoire are visible)
Captain's Private Quarters: interior
Dining Room: looking down spine of ship toward the stern with kitchen/bar in background
Dining Room: kitchen and bar. All I really did was position a Food/Chemical Crafting Station into place. I was trying to make some "clean welds" between the station and the bar when for whatever reason I thought to raise the station a few units off the floor. You can't tell that it's barely floating, and it gives the bar that neat circular decoration: stove or grill or giant moca late' machine, I've no idea but it looks cool![]()
Top Deck: Bounty Hunter and Smuggler Operations, including storage for Probe Droids and a Weapon/General Item Crafting Station in the rear. Trying to put racks for weapons and armor if I can squeeze it within the 75-item limitAnd would LOVE to put a good simulation of a restroom somewhere onboard too.

Pretty cool. What faction are you ? After you get master pilot any multiperson ship will look bad @ss, so I would save this ideas for later. Looks great. But you might want to move that nice divan out of the cell .... its color doesn't fir with prison cell. 5* for effort.

If you dont mind me saying so, if were talking about the Divan.
I do a ton of creative work display on my server for alot of people, and i try to combine things as well to comply with myself or my guild. So i try to use simplicity as my best creation ideal tool.
In less words, and dont worry about taking my idea, if it works go for it.
Use 3 "Ottomans". place them together and ytou'll have a nice prison looking resting place, if anything, it will remind you of Star Wars: A New Hope, the thing Princess Leia is laying ontop of during her stay in the Detention Center cell.
Let me know what you think

VERY well done! My own Sorosuub is a smuggler's ship...disguised as a private charter ship. Although I have the main salon done, I am still working on the smaller spaces. If it's alright, I may "borrow" some of your ideas as inspiration!
Go right ahead. And feel free to improve upon it if you like ![]()
