Sorry, but there is no relating the Heavy X-Wing to the B-Wing, I havn't flown the M-22 yet. The B-Wing is a tank. The Heavy X-Wing is almost the exact same as the regular, except for the nose of the models being different. Yeah, the JSF has good turning, but mass is essential for getting quality to best parts. The best parts do matter when it comes to PVP.

So, I heard that you currently must be Imperial to get the Eta-2 Jedi Interceptor.

Is this true? If so, I'm certain it's not intentional, thus, will it be fixed any time soon?

More important...is it worth to go Imp for a while only to get the Eta-2?

I'm pretty noob in both JtL and RotW, so any hint at all will help a lot Thanks

You heard correctly, and considering who gives it to you it would be very unlikely that it was not intended. Whether it was a good idea to do it that way is another matter.

As for if it's worth doing I've just switched and got one, but I tend to be quite acquisitive and I'm doing other things while I have the faction.

At the moment, the Jedi Starfighter is the best ship in the game. Its incredabaly fast andmanuverable. Yes going imp is the only way to get it but its worth it m8.

The B22is a bit larger than an Awing, and the JSF is about half its (the B22's) size.

Getting the movie ships is limited by your ground faction (2 of the 3 at least), and this is exactly as intended. If you saw the cert in your pilot tree, and assumed that to mean there would be a way for you to get it, you put the cart before the horse, like so many people did. The cert is there so you can keep it after you have it, not so you can get it regardless of allegiance.

You guys say the best starfighter in the game is the JSF? I don't know about what other people think about the Advanced X-Wing, but I think it is just as good. Yes, it is less maneuverable, but has an incredible mass. If the JSF is only 90K, how do you get the best stuff on it. I mean, 3K damage weapons are at least 25-40K mass, not mentioning the other components needed for the ship. I'm just curious, what kind of heat do you pack on your JSFs?

What kind of heat do you NEED to pack? The "best" assertions for the JSF are in the realm of PvP, and in PvP silhouette, speed, and turning win, not raw firepower.

Sure an AdvX, Krayt, or Bwing will bring more pain, but that just makes them better at their purpose, which is a different one than the JSF.

Poorly thought out statements all. In the context Imentionedthem, the Adv X and Bwing are related in the fact they are both great at bringing more firepower to bear than a JSF. Saying a Bwing is somehow more of a "tank" is a non sequitur, because in JtL the term is virtually meaningless. Defense in any ship almost never exceeds the limits an RE'd reward shield+CtSS+ a bit of armor, since even in the higher mass Bwing, the spare goes toward offense instead of heavier armor in 9of10 pilots.

My contention was that raw firepower is almost never a deciding factor inaPvP fight, since even L6 weaponry can overcome that level of defense. So trying to compare a PvE powerhouse (adv X, et al) to a PvP powerhouse (the JSF) and saying that trumps the JSF is best notion is an apples and oranges argument.

Whenone of the dominant ships in PvP was previously the Awing, a boat that regularly beat craft more than twice its capacity, your "more mass is necessary to good PvP" argument breaks down too.

Poorly thought out statements? So your telling me that you can turn your B-Wing as fast as an X-Wing?

And by the way I didn't want this to turn out as a debate like it did, I simply asked what are the weapons you guys use on the JSF, considering it has a low mass.
