Greetings.
I'm a Rebel on the ground and have 1/1/1/1 in the Rebel pilot skills. For some reason I got it in my head that only Neutral faction members could be Privateers. Now that I know the truth, is it possible to surrender my Rebel pilot skills and start on the Privateer path? Is it as simple as surrendering those skills and talking to the Privateer recruiter?

I think so. Theres a rebel npc in the park-place in Tyrena that'll let you retire from the Rebel Pilot-ness.

I level my pilot proffession by icing ship after ship of factional NPCs, but is there a way I can get faction points for destroying these ships?

Overt, he means overt. Go to a space station of your faction and declare. You will get FP for the kills and you will show up as hostile to any overt player of the other faction. Just try not to let someone's __-Wing/TIE sneak up on you while you are concentrating on your NPC targets.

i am a privater pilot ontier 3 now.
It maybe a stupid question but i was wondering ifits possible to do the imperial themepark on the ground without having
to give up my privater pilot and becoming imperial pilot.
(iam privater because i want the YT 1300)

Yes.
The older themeparks have absolutely nothing to do with space.
ground faction only affects space if you drop reb or imp and you are a non-neutral pilot.

The only thing that pretains to your space/ground factions is the opposing faction. Ground Reb cant be Imp pilots, and ground Imps cant be Reb pilots. If you replace any of the previous listed with neutral that is possible.
I am Imp Colonel on ground and Master Freelancer in space.
