I read somewhere that spacebombs work well when taking on the big guys, so I loaded up my Nova w/ a bunch of Mark II before heading to deep space. When we arrived at the star destroyer, I was able to target the components, but my gunners had to take 'em down. For some reason my missiles wouldn't lock on the component. Any tips on how to unleash these badboys?

I've never tried them on the ISD, but did you point the reticle at the target component, or the body of the ship? I've noticed on the vettes that you need to aim for the individual component for missiles to lock.

I was initially aiming at the individual components, but I tried the body of the ship and couldn't get anything either. I think it may have something to do with the fact that my Nova hits almost 1400 at top speed and I have to pull up to avoid colliding with the ship. That, combined with the fact that the weapon fire from the ISD lags the heck out of me may have something to do with it. Perhaps I'm just not getting close enough for the missiles to lock. Sure would be great if they would lock on from a longer range (especially on the POB ships).

The ISD is to big to get a lock on it, never has worked for me either.
