Would someone mind explaining to me what i need to put in any of the ships, but most importantly my firespray to get the capacitor overload, reactor overload, etc. commands. I mastered privateer pilot really quick when JTL came out but never spent anymore time in space after that except to travel. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to get back into the space part of the game and would like to use these commands. Thanks again for any and all help.

If you are freelance program capacitor overcharge 3, capacitor to shield shunt4 and rector overload 2. Get an imperial to program weapon over 3 and engine over 3 and your are golden. You can fit these on a lvl 4 flight computer and you really don't need much else when you are fighting.

The thing to watch is decay, using lvl 3 overcharges you will incur less than 10 points of damage to your weapons and such so if you repair every time you land you will never damage your weapons.

Galaxies, we feel for you. We hope that someday, you'll have a complete, functional game to play. Perhaps it's time to check out a few other games?

So i program all those commands onto individual chips or what? And do i need to make more than one of each for each time i want to use the command or does one last forever?

Firstly get a level 6 ships computer, and generate it to your datapad

Then find a droid interface with a low droid speed (Lower the better)

Get these chips or use the programminf commands you have

1: Reactor overload, three (you have this command)

2: Weapon capacitor overload, three (you have this command)

3: Engine overload, three (buy from a vendor, or ask an imperial ace to make one)

4: Weapon overload, three (buy from a vendor, or ask an imperial ace to make one)

5: Capacitor to shield shunt, four (you have this command)

then program the chips and command into your computer from your datapad (move the commands from the left pane to the right pane and select commit)

then add both the droid interface and the ships computer to your ship from the starship terminal.

once you are in space, add the commands to your tool bar in the order above and run each one in the same order, useing the capaicotor to sheild shunt only when you get a nasty hit on your shields.

this will make your ship flu much faster, and your weapon energy will never run out. and you will hit much harder too. and you only need to run these command once each time you are in space.

only repairing at a space station or landinf will reset these commands.

WARNING: each time you run one of these commands it will take a small amout of that components armor and shield rating down a bit, as you have overloaded that component.

so always remeber to repair at a space station before landing to minimize thisefect.

Also you might ask why only use mostly level three chips and commands

Well most of the level four chips are bugged and will almost cripple your ship, so dont try.

While I do not have any experience with Weapon Overload 4, I use Reactor, Engine, and Capacitor Overload 4 all the time, they work as intended. You just have to have enough reactor energy for E04. Plus, they do cause decay if you repair all at the station, but I usually just pop into Deep Space and back for a decay-free repair before landing.

It is Weapon Overload 3 that is bugged, it reduces energy and cap energy consumption for the weapon instead of increasing it.

I never repair my stuff, because it seems to take a percent of your max when you run it... so if you never repair (and you never take dmg to the components, which you shouldn't unless you're pvping) then it never drops any lower. I use weapon overcharge 4, capacitor overcharge 4, shunt 3 (because 4 is for pvp imo) and engine overcharge 3.

If you're master theres no need to buy anything less than a level 6 astromech and level 6 computer... search vendors for r5 basic chassis, they're the cheapest astromechs to make and usually the most plentiful.

*EDIT* Nevermind i was way wrong, i messed with it the other night... the reason i didn't see my armor values and hit pnts going down was because theres a display bug in the "v" menu of the ship. it doesn't update unless you change from the current focus to a different component and then back again. so forget what i said above.
