Thread: Devs, don't Sorusuub plush the Lambda!

As revealed at the fan fast, the Lambda shuttle will be one of the two newest aditions to SWG's ships, they are now finished with most of the shuttle but the interior.
This is a plea from an Imperial Pilot, don't turn the interior of the Lambda into something like the Sorusuub. The only possible plush ones would be The Emperor's or Darth Vader's private shuttles, and even they wouldn't look like the carpeted shiny Suub.
The Lambda's we players will fly will be Supplies and Trooper Transports, make the interior Imperial Military more like the Decimator.

What is the other ship? Do you have a link to this announcement? If this is true, sweet! And I agree with you, it should be very military like. Or maybe even have furnished and unfurnished versions?

What uses are there going to be for these new ships if any or are they just going to be some more pretty eye candy?
The Lambda should be able to land anywhere on a planet.
There should be two types.... One a taxi service type. and Two a troop transport type.
The troop transport type should be a PVP enabled ship.
The troop transport type should be a PVP enabled ship.

I think they will be faithful with the Lamda shuttle because of the work they did with the Decimator.
And the YT-2400 is most likely going to be the other ship.

I'd expect it to have 1 or 2 forward firing weapons and a single aft turret. Which would actually be pretty cool since it might be the only ship pob ship that would be viable in space PvP, as long as it's not huge (I believe it's somewhere around krayt sized, so it might work). And as long as it's maneuverable.

I don't know.....
Maybe there should be 2.... I remeber hearing 2 different versions of them in the EU.
1) An Officer shuttle that was used to transport this officer to Coruscant, was described as comfortable and stuff (I think the book was shadows of the Empire but I'm not sure)
2) Then one used by the 'rebellion' to transport troops. I imagined that one as just lined by seats with soldiers strapped to the sides, kind of like military air transports or helicoptors today.

A great bonus if possible with the Lambda would be the abilty to land it anywhere. Complete with the Lambda animation already in game.
