Let me start off by saying that i have not purchased ROTW expansion.
That being stated I noticed that I have eta 2 and belbullab 22 certification amongst my commands and abilities granted in tier 4 boxes.
So the question is if I will be able to fly those ships if I buy their deeds on the open market, even though I dont have ROTW and have not done their respective quests?
By the way, which ship is better?
Thanks for your answers.

I think that their stats are excatly the same. The profile and weapons positions are a bit different. The Actis fighter is smaller and both weapons are closer to the middle of it.

You don't have to do a quest in order to be able to fly the GSF. I bought one off a vendor and flew it against the ISD last night. The JSF you do have to do Vader's quest tho.
Both ships are equal in mass and maneuverability and hardpoints. JSF is a little smaller in size.

The Jedi starfighter mission is bugged atm. Impossible to get it until it gets fixed.

If you buy the Belbullab you can fly it w/o ROTW however you cannot get the Jedi Fighter w/o ROTW because it is required to complete the quest and you cannot generate the ship w/o having completed the mission.
