I am currently a Rebel Ace, and I think only like a rebel sgt or lt or something, not very high up.

What do I have to do to get the JSF and get back to Rebels?

Do I have to do the whole Imp themepark, or just some? Do I have to be any kind of Imp pilot to get it?

well .. drop your rebel ace pilot, leave rebel faction .. get imp pilot 4333, do the quest, generate the ship .. drop imp pilot, leave imp faction and turn rebel again and regrind you rebel ace pilot, that's all you have to do

Does he need to do the final space battle mission to be able to use the jsf if he goes rebel again ? And if he does couldn't he just do it as a tier 1 pilot and get a freelance or imperial friend to shoot down all the rebel ships ?

pretty sure as long as he gets some hits in on the ships and not die his group could do the work, but as cool as the JSF is the intercepter is way faster and handles much better.

One thing in your favor, After you have mastered Pilot once. You get 2x XP When you grind Pilot again.

A guildmate dropped master Pilot, got theJSF and reground to Master again in less than 48 hours.

Before you drop Rebel Master Pilot, Load a Y-Wing with the best components you can (Experimental Blasters etc) Leave that Y-WIng in your DPAD, Do the same for a Z-95

Once you have the JSF and go back rebel, You can use the Beefed up ships to grind back up FAST. Just NEVER remove a component until you are qualified to equip it again, as long as it is already loaded in your ship, and you are qualified on that Ship. You can use it

- When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, 'How can we do this and not make another EQ?' We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen."

Well if JSF is anything like the ARC-170 mission. I dropped Imperial tier 2 to become a rebel. I was still qualified to use all of me tier 2 stuff for IMP, but was only a novice reb pilot. So I went up and did the mission and now have an ARC-170, still have to log on tonight to see how much work as IMP pilot I have to do to get back where I was and even more so fly this ARC. But I'm happy with my decision and more then willing to do it again if need be.

One thing I heard - but haven't confirmed - is that if you do the JSF quest, and already have the arc, you can no longer use the arc. Apparently they are mutually exclusive, though you can use the grevious fighter with identical stats to the JSF without completing any quests, you just need the deed.

You dont have to grind any in imperial pilot if you a rebel. Steps 2 get JSF:

Quit Rebellion

Join Empire

Take mission for JSF

Once Vader gives you the deed you can stop. You do not have to do the final space mission, and therefore need no pilot skills

Quit Empire

Join Rebellion

Regrind pilot(if you were a rebel pilot, if you were a freelance you never lost your skills!)

Explain to me why in the hell we are certed for it but cant use it?

This is like saying I am certed to use my Saber but cant.

I think its a issue bug actully.. why even have it as a Cert in my Rebel Box
