Thread: A lot of you need to read the TOS and growup
You agree not to do any of the following while on The Station or in any SOE Communication Feature:
- transmit any message, information, data, text, software or graphic files, or other materials ("Content") that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, that may be invasive of another's right of privacy or publicity, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
This is an international game! This means that people from other countries play this game. For many of them english is a second language, and in the case of a very good friend of mine it is his third language. (FYI This means that the first language they learned to read, speak and write is NOT english.) Their use of english is I am sorry to say at times is weak and their grammar and use of tenses is not always correct, but that does not give other players the right to verbally abuse and harrass them as wasthe case of my friend being harassed last night.
Second many guilds mine included enjoy PvP and when we are confronted with in our case Overt Rebels we will attack and in most cases kill the rebels. That is the nature of PvP. This does not give friends andguild mates of those we have killed the right to go around bad mouthing our guild, and harassing our members. The people we kill are overt and know the risks of being overt in a large city. If you are new to the game I advise you to not go overt and if you do go overt don't expect to live very long in a large city such as Theeds, and don't run around after whining about it.
My final point is to those of you who think it's funny to go speeding through a group of red on red NPC's and dragging them ontop of another player who is busy fighting,trying to grind out XP.Whether your reasons for doing this is either due to their guild or for what ever other reason you do not like them, or you just enjoy being A-holes you will not get away with it. This happened to me last night on Dantooine 3 times and to the players that did this I got screen shots of all of you and will be sending them to SOE customer service for corrective action, and the excuse of "It was an accident only works when it happens once, but 3 times in a row in 5 minutes is no accident.

i am pretty sure that they explicitly mention this as an example for grief playing which is a violation of the tos. its also a more than common thing for frustrated kiddies that are disappointed that they cant run around killing other players and show off how leet they are (basically for no particular reason than playing much longer than the other guy). and of course its such a neat way to kill or annoy players that would wipe the floor with you if you had the guts to go overt or start a duel. if you really believe the thought of somebody doing this than you have no idea just how sad some people can be.
if you want to tell me you managed to be chased by 3 dogs within 5 mins and always happened to run across the same guy than i might have to wonder if you ever considered fleeing in a different direction for a change or at least have the common decency to turn around and try to draw them away from him. especially if you just happen to sit on a motorbike and can outrun them without any trouble.
