I am currently trying to finish the "Capture Colonel Hend's Shuttle" mission with my alt Harbinger-O on the Ahazi server. I have failed the mission 9 times now and my ship chassis is now 84/84. Some will say "Get help from other pilots", well I just spent 3 hours traveling from planet to planet asking for help and got zip. I can not train any pilot skills until I complete this mission. They make these missions hard so we will work together and have a more enjoyable playing experience, but when there is not one Imperial pilot out of the 10 that showed up in Theeds when I did a search willing to help that takes the game from enjoyable to a pain in the butt. This game used to be fun and I enjoyed logging in every day for 5 or 6 hours, but when I end up beating my head against wall every timeI log init's no longer fun.

While I'm on a rant can you developers add the ability to place droids on the ignore list as well as players that continually use emotes. I can ignore all spammers but those that use droids and it's getting to the point that players can not even chat with one another with out spam scrolling their chat out of view, along with the endless and mindless emotes.

Same problem for me...

I'm in a guild, and everyone in it avoids space like the plague. We have only 2 people that we've helped master pilot; one quit the game, and the other refuses to waste time on space. I can never manage to find even 3 people to go up in space... sad .

It's not difficult to capture the shuttle actually. Here are some tips:eliminate all escort fighters first before attacking the shuttle; do not approach the shuttle from behind to avoid it's rear gun;as soon asyou start receiving fire from the shuttle, turn and apply booster to get out of range, wait for shield to regen if necessary before going in for another run; keep doing that till you destroyed all the weapons and the rest will be easy.

Shuttles/Gunboats/Gunships are easier kills if you go for the engines first. Then you can engage from a safe distance (~545m is preferable) unchallenged.

Hi

i admit its not the easyes mission to do, but take out the escorts first then take out the reactor on Hends Shuttle, if you do this then the guns can not fire at you, even so i would still advice that you do it with at least another 3 to 4 friends, thay do not need to be ace pilots, i have done it with just 2 friends and none of us are ace pilots....it can be done with 3 players, thay attact the escorts you only attack if thay come to close,on some parts of it you can attact to but do not leave the area or it will say mission failed

The Lambda shuttle has just one turret and a really *huge* blindspot.

Try to approach it from somewhere 'up' and 'front' while you have the one turret targetted, fire away and disable the turret. Problem solved, the shuttle now has not a single working weapon.

If you see the shuttle turning, turn yourself and get some distance if you cannot handle the turret's fire.

True for those in Kessel and Deep Space. But those mission critical ones tend to roll and change course quite often, so it's kinda hard to keep it at 545m. The shuttle that needs to be capture in this mission has only 1 weapon if I remember correctly, so I prefer to take it out first.

Hence the fact that strafing is the way to go. It takes far longer to disable 3-7 weapon mounts than it does a single engine or reactor.

I want to thank all of the people who posted suggestion on how to complete this mission in their replys to this thread. They worked!!!! I completed the mission and when I went to land on Naboo I was offered the Naboo station misssion which I also completed and I now can land and launch from the "Emperor Retreat."

For those of you wondering the launch terminals are inside the retreat. Go inside and follow the hall to the main area there is a door oposite the elevator. Go through the door and there are several rooms the terminals are in one of the rooms on your left.

Hi... i'm new to the forums, so excuse the crap handle, etc.

I'm having the same trouble doing Denners missions on Farstar and i had an idea on how this could be solved.Ifthe devsallowed the "hire" of npc ships that would act similar to pets, it would let people do group missions when they can't find a group.

Don't get me wrong, i think getting a group together and heading into space is one of the best things in SWG, but getting a group is nearly impossible on some servers. The people in my guild have mostly left, the rest are too busy grinding FS xp and since i was kinda late getting JTL, the novelty has worn off for those that have already gained ace status. As a result,I've been on Yavin 4 for 3 or 4 days and of the few people i've met, no one wants to help. I would even hire players to help.... if anyone was on-line these days.

So let me hire a few npc Ties, give them follow, guard, attack commands, etc.

just my 2 cents
