Thread: Let's set a meeting spot for POB players.

Okay, think about this. We could have something like the dantooine MO, but anywhere in the galaxy, just pick a sp. That way people who want to go into space as a turret gunner or someone who needs extra players to fill up their POB ship could just meet there, group up, and blast off. This cold also work for people who need help with different missions. It'd be easier this way, to find a copilot or whatever.

I think this is a great idea. I've experienced several instances where I wanted to take my yt-1300 up, just for kicks, and was unable to find a willing crew. I nominate the Mos Eisely cantina, perhaps in one of the side alcoves. I would also add that in my opinion, the main focus in going up should be fun and good times rather than XP or lots of loot (but those can be a nice bonus of course). I'd really like to see this idea take off and would like to hear other peoples ideas on this.

I like this idea, and that would probably be a good place.

Nice idea...
Often wanted to crew my ship for the hell of it and find some bad boys to attack.
It would also assist the low-end pilots to get their XP up.
Meeting place is just fine by me too.
Try to make it the "unofficial" meeting area on all servers.

Glad to see there is some interest in this. In an effort to make this a bit more specific, I recommend meeting in the first alcove on the right as you enter the cantina from the main entrance (the one with the mounted dewback outside). This is the alcove right behind the klaata and the quarren NPCs sitting at a table in the main part of the cantina. Hope to see alot of people there for some POB fun!!

Lets try and get people more active in space. Also this seems very starwarsy ala Han taking everyone up in ep 4. Perhaps, even we could hire people who need cash to work as the "autopilot" on our yachts and such for parties.

Sounds like a good idea to me.
Yeah, the Mos Eisley cantina also sounds like a great place for this. Or the Lucky Despot (less lag, and hey, it's a spaceship too
).
