Thread: A Question for Tiggs

The developers have made perfectly clear, especially with recent and upcoming changes, that the focus and purpose of the ground game is the Galactic Civil War. No matter what profession you are, what you do influences the GCW in some way. The glaring exceptions to that rule are the only two professions associated with JTL: Pilot and Shipwright. Obviously these two profession are co-dependent, but in the larger scheme of things, they influence nothing. No matter how many chassis and components a Shipwright crafts, no matter how many npcs a Pilot destroys, it still does not impact any other facet of the game in any way.

When examining these facts, one is left with the conclusion that the expansion has no purpose or focus. Pilots and Shipwrights exist only to satisfy each other. So my question is this: Am I missing something? Is there a point to this that I'm not seeing, and, if so, what is it? I really hope someone with a red name will enlighten me because launching into Kessel or Deep Space to find that I'm the only one there gets more disappointing and depressing every time.

26 + 6 = 1

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair or **edit**ing beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you've got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man...
And give some back.

I'd like to see a response to this as well.
