Glzmo was a great visionary. Perhaps SOE should have listened to him instead of rebuilding everything all the time.

i completed the first mission (about a 45 minute long escort... *sigh*) and that was all fine and dandy... got 2322 training... and so i go to do my second tier 3 mission. i go to endor. inspect/dock an a-wing recon fighter. defeat the ambush of reb a-wings. inspec/dock the freighter. deliver the info to the lamba shuttle. then finally, im given patrol WP's. after the patrol WP's, it stops giving me missions (nothing spawns in the WP's, i just go to them).

so i fly back to yavin to my trainer. when i talk to him... he gives me the same mission! and he doesnt give me the failure dialoge, he gives me the same exact dialoge as when i started. w t f?

ive completed this mission 3 times now (failed my first time becuz i was being stoopad) and he keeps regiving me the mission over again! >_<

anyone else had this problem? any way around it?

the problem is you are going around the patrol too fast. right before the patrol be sure to destroy all the fighters that come at you, even when that part of the mission ends and they no longer have the mission box. after that, when you get the patrol, go around to each waypoint at like 300 speed. that should prompt the mission to give you the last part.

As a side question, I'm quite stuck on this mission as well.

I can no get to the end pretty reliably (the big fight where you have to fight with the TIE squad).

However, when I start that big fight, the "capital" ship (I don't know what type it is) usually aggros me even if I do not attack it.

I then quickly get destroyed.

I sadly made the mistake of goind 3/2/2/2 so my equipment is a little underpowered.

Any strategy suggestions here? Try taking out the big ship first with missiles?

Ive tried luring small ships away and killing them, but it seems the capital ship always ends up coming for me.

Thanks,

The whole things is so badly bugged it defies belief. IgetTier 3, mission 3 and get sent to endor again, docked with a shuttle, went to another shuttle, getting attacked by rebels on the way, get too many to deal with at once so have to dock and hyper to a point in system, get told to hunt some rebels, then to escort a shuttle and kill 4 waves that attack it. I kill 2 of the first wave, then the second shows. I fight for a bit, until they start hypering away. I follow the slow moving shuttle for 20 minutes and nothing happens. He then hypers and tells me I failed to kill enough waves WHEN THOSE WAVES DIDNT APPEAR. So that was about 2 hours wasted. I then wasted another hour and a half getting to the last rebel before the escort, and the network goes down and I loose that too, because some idiot descided you shouldnt be able to take a break from this stuff. Well done SWG, you just lost a customer.

whoa....you get the option to fly back?? As soon as I get to Endor for that long-as-hell escort, I am stuck there. Each new phase starts as soon as the last ends and I get the "cannot leave zone" message. I usually get up to the 5th part (rendezvous with the ship) before some other Endor spawn aggros and kills me...I am literally about to break something in frustration.

u are allowed to hyper WITHIN the system. he did this, to avoid dying. actually a good last resort.

btw... Jim-Duncan Idaho... im going to ignore the Jim part... and focus on Duncan Idaho... im assuming you're a dune fan?

no lie i did that mission 54 times, then i did it with a friend that tanked for me.

the key is that you HAVE to kill all the ships that spawn, and at the end of the patrols points a ton of ships and escorts spawn and you have to kill them all!

just my two credits!
