Thread: Noob help on the xwing...and other things

I looked back 10 pages, and any links are appreciated.

I hear of a better x-wing than what I have as a 3333 Rebel (10962 mass). What quests or options do I have for getting something better or larger? I am having a very tough time equiping it.

Also, anyone have a link(s) to space quests?

Thanks for your time!

It starts at the Kashyyyk space station. Which will eventually send you to a guy (Eyma) in Kachiro, who will eventually send you to the Rebel Outpost. You have to do a few missions there, and when you /comm with the station you will see a choice in the chat box selections that says something like, "I want a challenge!". Choose that and you will be given the mission to disable a stolen Alliance corvette, and escort it to safety. It is actually quite easy if you follow the guide (which I'll post a link to in a moment). After you're done you get the Heavy X-Wing, which has a mass of around 180,000.

Also there is a link in one of those posts that will take you to another forum (a non-SWG one) with a great guide. I'd recommend reaching 4-3-3-3 before you complete this quest, as some people seem to have problems opening the deed when they are 3-3-3-3 (because they aren't certified to fly the heavy xwing).

FYI I just did this for the first time last night, and it was a total breeze. Many peeps say you can blow all the turrets because they'll regenerate once the corvette is recaptured, but I didn't want to take my chances. I just took out turret/weapon #5. When the corvette was recaptured, that turret did NOT regenerate. You want the turrets there so teh corvette can protect itself when you are escorting it.

BTW, 10963 mass seems awfully low for an x-wing. Are you missing a zero? or are you still flying a Z95? (incidentally, shipwrights can now make heavy Z95s).

Yeah.. I was thinking the same thing. I have never seen a X-Wing with less than 80k max mass.

What's the max on theose Heavy Z95's, any idea?

I will display the "Test Center" icon until SWG is bug free.

Wow (jaw hits the floor...) is that right? If so who wants to build me one on Lowca? I'll bring the asteroids.
