Hey I know that lots are a way to balance out the number of items that you can physically store, so what if there were different 'modes' for the yacht? Each mode would take up a different number of lots and be able to store more or less of an item. You wouldn't be able to place more items in your yacht unless you upgraded the mode. Likewise you wouldn't able to downgrade your yacht until you remove enough items that they would be less than the new lower limit. That way people could decide how much they want to decorate their vehicle and if they want to use it as a place of storage for the cost of lots.

Here's a possible idea of lot usage / item storage -

Mode 0 - 0 lots - 0 items
Mode 1 - 1 lot - 75 items
Mode 2 - 2 lots - 150 items
Mode 3 - 3 lots - 225 items
Mode 4 - 4 lots - 300 items

Or whatever the developers feel is fair. What do you guys think of this? And please don't say 'well it shouldn't take up any lots and I should be able to place a ton of items in it' because the developers are NOT gonna go for this. Let's actually go for something that will be approved.

Any thoughts before this sinks of the page? I thought there were a few people out there interested in the Yacht item limitations.
