What are folks who were in beta doing with the BETA files? One person in my PA uninstalled it, then tried to get into SWG, blue screened of death 3 times, couldn't boot computer and had to reformat the hard drive.

Has anyone successfully removed the beta files?

I uninstalled it from add remove programs and then deleted the directory in program files...ran a reg cleaner just to double check and voila..my live game still runs fine.

So you're saying XP can't blue screen? What a riot. While rare , it can still happen, and it means something very very bad has happened. Like a corrupted hard drive.

After uninstalling using add/remove programs, delete the folder. Just make sure you move your screenshots first.
