Assuming you have the necessary pilot certification, you don't need *any* shipwright to install new parts in your ship. Repair is just a matter of /comm ing the space stations or buying some repair kits.

og okai =) was hoping there might be a chance to just pick a repair and a tree for installing new parts =) kinda like Han Solo, he wasent a "master shipwright" either =P He could just repair and modify the falcon =)

Why are you bumping? I answered your question.
Components range from level 1 to level 10. Depending on where you are in the *pilot* tree decides what level components go into your ship. They're interchangable, like clothing.

That's what I'm saying. Han wasn't a shipwright, he was a pilot. Pick up pilot skills and put components in your ship. *shrug*
Edit: And if I'm not being clear, you can already install new parts.

You do not have to have shipwright to modify your ship!! Only be a pilot!! You can pull and add any component you want at any time (you're near a starship terminal)!!
