Thread: tier 4 -5 in endor space..

i wont claim to know much about space , i use my brothers imp ace account to mess around up there ...
anyways , i have been looking for black sun spawns around the planet endor , and i have noticed that the AI in this part of space is drasticly more advanced over other parts of space.
for example , i' d dog fight with any tier 4 or 5 in endor and nearly die or take around 10 min to kill one ... the way they act is like there tier 10 or something . Their flying actions are pretty erratic at times , pulling U-turns on a dime at full speed and sliding sideways etc..basicly flying circles around me ...
now i goto dathomir to see wth is up cause i ask my bro how long he normaly took to kill a tier 5 , he said a few hits maybe a min they go down. keep in mind he hasnt be in space since prob around december (just after jtl launched) nor has he played since the CU.
anyways i goto dathomir space find tier 3 -4 a few 5's , and i open up on them and they die very easily like he says a few hits -1 min dogfights , it was actualy fun killing them... as apposed to the 10 min of frustration in endor space.. i dont know is this a bug ? has anyone noticed this ?

The AI is the same in every system.The BlackSuns in endor are actually rathe dumb, try a BlackSun duty mission and youll see th edifference 
If you want a challange then go into deep space and destroy the Rebel Space Station or the Imperial Star Destroyer.
I take it you might not have been using Droid commands? If not... you should, then those tier 4 will be cannon fodder for ya

It's all the same AI - what you're experiencing sounds like lag. Ships jump around, fly impossible manuevers, that sort of thing? Do a search under, "Drunken bumblebee." Some zones tend to lag more than others, Endor is one that does that to me.

I think the OP is talking about the droid fighters in endor space, they are much faster and more maneuverable then the blacksun and most of the other AI out there.

Of course, he might have been fighting the droid ships that are often in endor space. Those guys ARE a pain in the ass. They're really small, really fast and like to swarm. I don't know that they're any smarter, but I certainly find them more dangerous than any other bunch of fighters I've ever taken on.

I love them. No other Space NPC get´s your aiming trained as good as they do! Ones ur at the point where you can gun them down easily... You will have a KILLER aim!

exactly, once I mastered pilot these teir 5 droid pilots are the only challenge i found sans gunboat, the ISD, and corvettes. These droid ships are TOUGH!
