Ok so you can get DNA from a creature and then the creature dies. I am assuming or hoping that you cant get DNA from a agroed creature? Otherwise you coulduse this to instantly kill somemonsters if you were in trouble. Also after the creature dies can you use your hunting skill to get meat, bone, or hides from them?

You can't get DNA from a creature that is in combat. Also, sometimes creatures will attack after having their DNA sampled (if they live) so I wouldn't reccommend going around and sampling from the biggest critters without some back up plan if things go wrong.

You can *not* harvest a creature that dies from being sampled.

I've had dead creatures that I've sampled to kill detect my mask scent or get xp for them not detecting it. There's something a bit odd with their "deaths"... only happens with creatures I've killed though sampling.

So I decide I will become a droid engineer. I max out survey on the way to maxing out engineering and then I get Droid engineer. Cool. So looking at my schematics, I see I have a stupid droid personality module. Well, this sounds amusing, so I look at what it needs to make one. One of the items, an electronic memory module is made by a master artisan - As well as some other electronic components...

So I grind thru Domestic and Business and get Master Artisan YAY!

I make a memory module. Then I make the personality module. But, low and behold, the MSE droid wont use it. Soooo - What the heck is it for? How DO I use this thing?

With regards to crafting, one more question...

How does the experimental stuff work? I see talk of it but I dont see anything in my crafting tools to experiment. Any tips appreciated. Thanks!

Is this a mystery to everyone else too?

How do you mean it won't use it?

I don't know that it does anything, but it went in the right slot.

Am I misunderstanding?

I created the personality module. I then went to construct an MSE droid. This process displays the appropriate resources that the droid will need for construction. The personality module never showed up in the list of available resources.

So I'm not even a CH yet, but I purchased a pet (for the life of me I can't remember what kind it is, its only on Endor, about lvl 50, 10k health, 400-500 dmg @ 2.3 seconds, looks like a lizard Cu Pa) but I have the guide and it says its untameable so I'm sure that it was done up by a Bio. Now my question is it says I have to tame it, so are Bio created pets able to be tamed even if the wild versions can't?

Correct...if it is made you can get it on the bazaar and tame it..also works as a trade as well.

Remember though that since the pet is so high level, you will not get creature handler exp (well, you'll get 1 exp technically) when using it for fighting.

To gain exp you'll want a pet whose parents con yellow or below.

That big pet though will be helpful just in case you are doing something in which you don't care about exp and want to just bash something fast.

So has NO ONE used a personality module yet?
