Might just be the ol' lag bug getting you, you're not actually shooting where you think you're shooting (or rather, where the server thinks you're shooting).


Not all ships have a perfect hit box - just because you hit the model on your screen doesn't mean you did damage. Make sure you're pegging away at the middle.


If you mean gunboats, and you're shooting at a disabled one, they seem to have periods of time where no damage shows, then it'll start going down again.

I have been having the problem where in space i will either not do damage to npc ships or they will take damage and then just stop taking damage sometimes with persistence they will start taking damage again but generally i die or my mission ends cause it took too long anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it ?
