Thread: Decimator question or possible improvement on targeting

upfront, sry for a potentially dumb question but here it goes...,

in a decimator, is there a way you can change the color or style of the target arrows foreach turret? like, red for one turret and blue for the other. its kinda hard to tell who is aiming for what and i keep turning my crew away from their shot. both my arrows show up the same shade of grey for me. if there isn't a way, it would be real nice! /wink/wink

i mean, its hard enough w/o forward guns on top of my reducing the accuracy of my gunners.

thanks

No, I don't think there is. I don't even think those grey arrows are what you think they are. They maybe waypoint indicators of some kind which may be throwing you off.

There is a Keycombo (I sadly cant recall it exacly right now) which lets you step through the available Crosshair´s/Reticle´s. Check the Keymap

Some of them also differ in color. But tbh I never had a problem aiming in a POB or any other ship with the default Crosshair/Reticle.

thanks bomb, precitate it, i'll have to check that when i get back in. i know the cats gunningin the turrets get frustrated w/ me cause i'm turning them the wrong way.i take my whippins like anyone else in space, w/o regret, but i at least like to give a fight, haha!!

and those grey arrows have to be what the turretsare targeting, causewhen i cycle thru the targets i canmatch the arrow to what they are aiming at. i spin the ship around and theres thebogey, i.e., where the arrow was pointing, and my gunner is already blasting away if i have the correct turret facing the right way. also when they finish a ship off, the grey arrow drops andthey cycle to the next closest ship. besides, its not like i have tons of waypoints in kessel. none of the other guys w/ me had a mission or waypoint there either.
