Thread: Is there a problem with the /claimVeteranReward command?

Before i installed JTL i had an email about claiming my reward, tried it and it said it was the soro sub but because i didnt yet have JTL i couldnt get it.
I installed JTL yesterday and now the command to claim the reward does nothing! Anyone know if this is a recent issue that needs fixing?

oh you also have to have regested the jtl key. is there any message you get as i got for a week and ahalf message saying i could clame it but when i went i had 90 day when i should have 190

I swear to god, 60% of the people on these boards are illiterate.
As far as the command not working, some have said that it's case sensitive... it worked for me the day after launch... might try talking to a CSR in the launchpad chat if you can't figure it out.

as for the /claimveteranreward not working, i fully understand, the command worked the first day with the yacht not selectable because i didnt have the expansion and because i didnt have the 180 mark. but now the command does absolutly nothing.

If you misspell the command or dont use the correct case you get an error message that says no such command. Thats not my case, I get no result at all. Prior to installing JTL i had the yacht there as a 120 day reward *shrug*

In beta there was a problem if you claimed it badly the first time you couldn't claim it again. Doubt that's the issue though.
Some quirks to know about the /claimVeteranReward command:
1) You must have 180 consecutive days of BILLING time (note: the 30 days free you get with the game does NOT count towards this 180 days. The 180 days starts AFTER your 30 day period expires.
2) If you cancelled your subscription at any point it restarts your counter at 0 from that point.
3) I know some folks who's accounts are erroneously showing up short about 60 days of billing time which caused them to not be able to claim their rewards.

I received the same message--before buyingJTL. I also was informed I could claim my vet reward. After purchasing, I too found I couldn't get the command to work. I tried matching the case sensistivity too and nothing would happen, like i didn't enter a / command at all.
The next day when I logged in, I received a new message saying I could claim my reward.
In my experience, it was kinda like the Old Man coming to visit. I had to wait for the message. Hope this helps.

I had same problem. I was supposed to get 270 day and used the command when i didnt have jtl yet. Installed jtl and all i could get was the 180 day all of a sudden. I submitted bug report with no response.

I had the alert in game just as i logged in on the same day as the in game email

and as far as iliterate goes, read the original post, i do have JTL
