hello i recently preordered jump to light speed from the eb in my local mall i didnot order it on the internet i ordered it through the store will i still recive the free speeder from "prordering from the store" as opposed to preordering from the internet

That seems to be the question without answer because not even the store clerks at EB know about the bonus disk. Seems weird, dont you think?

we order 2 pre-order copies of JTL.. received both copies today... but there is no extra disk...
just the install disk for JTL...
still dunno how to claim our "Free" speeders....
figures it would be another daunting task to get them....

When you pre-ordered you should have received a pre-order beta disk in a nice JTL expansion box that says PRE-ORDER ONLY at the top. Within the box there should be the jewel cased disk with a sticker on the back of the disk that has the code on it...same length as the code you get with your real copy of JTL. Once you find this code, go start the launcher and register it as aan expansion and restart the launcher and log in like normal. It should be in your invitory but if not...type in /flashspeeder or somthing to that effect and it will be in your invitory.

ok heres the run down. There was supposed to be a cut off date for the bonus flash speeder. The cut off date never made the link. There were not enough pre-order keys given to the stores to account for the lack of a cut off date. SOE has given out more pre-order keys to both gamestop and EB games. They will email them to all who purchased before 10-26-04. I know they have already started. So, it was a problem but sony is making good on it. And thanks to Chris in live chat ...very helpful in explaining it all. The bottom line is that if you pre-ordered from EB or gamestop you will receive the code for your flashspeeder.
