Jump To Lightspeed Archive

Was on my way to a waypoint in space (with my newbie starter ship)when I was jumped by 3 other fighters (one shot a missle at me right away, Ack!!). About that same time I fought my way over around the waypoint and spawned my 3 ships for the destroy mission I was on (while I was still fighting the other fighters).

Anyhow, I killed most of them but was getting my tail handed to me so I "/quit" so I wouldnt have to eject and take a shiatz load BF, etc...

So now I log back in the game later on and try to get back into space. I examine my ship and my engines are at 0, so I try to fix it, but it won't let me and I can't launch into space since my ship has so much damage. So my question is....how the heck can I get back into space? Do I take my ship to someone on the ground to fix, or could I just destroy it and hopefully get another one from my trainer?
