Thread: Black Epsilon Tier 3, Mission 2 issues

I'm able to solo every enemy in this mission (I have excellent gear), but when it comes to escorting the droid-controlled smuggler ship, it keeps bugging. The first time, the ship just flat out disappeared after I sanitized the sector, and after a few minutes I got a mission failed message.

This most RECENT time, I kept tabs on the ship the entire time throughout the multiple engagements with the Nym Captains and X-Wing covers, and actually SAW it disappear (no explosions, nada) when it had 94% shields left and 100% on all three components.

Is there a limited area of roaming around the ship that you can't leave, because those Tier 4 X-95s are very damn good at leading you away from the ship in their BRILLIANT AI "I'm going to do nothing but fly head-on forward passes right into your cockpit so it takes forever to kill me" maneuvering.

I wonder whose idea it was to allow you to save up the XP for concurrent levels but keep you from using that xp to equip yourself with better platforms to do your duty more efficiently. I'm a fan of hard objectives in a simulator, but bugs like this piss me off, especially when so many of them went ignored from beta straight into Live.

this bug wasn't in beta. I did this mission in beta and have done it on my own in live. I also did it withfriends who were doing this mission twice. So 4 times that i have done this mission, i have not yet encountered this. Best bet is to bring a friend with you who's sole purpose is to destroy the fighters while you escort the ship. If you do get to far away you will fail the mission.
