Ok, I figured out how to use the "H" key and I jumped to lightspeed. That was easy.

I then figured out how to use the "N" key and set my waypoint. I then told the ship to autopilot to the waypoint.

Why is it when I leave the Piolts Chair, my ship stops? It is on autopiolt isn't it? Am I doing something wrong?

I am using the Sorosuub.

No, you have to be in the chairfor autopilot to work. Stupid, I know, but I'm sure there's some technical reason behind it.

EDIT: To clarify, I'm pretty sure you have to be in the chair and actively piloting.

This issue came up during beta (especially when the yacht was released for testing). The devs have indicated that they are looking into changing this, but have made no promises, and no ETA.

It sure would be nice to stand in front of the big windows and watch the stars go by in the yacht

Wouldn't auto-pilot in this day and age on advanced starships be clever enough to navigate around obstacles?
